This template will create the 1” x 8-1/2” finish mortise and the 2" x 7-1/8" deep pocket mortise for the latching hardware on the edge of the door. It will also do the 1” x 6-1/16” finish on the top of the door, similar to the Rockwood 2905 Self Latching Top Bolt. This is a ”Wrap-Around Clamp-On” style template. Template wraps the top of the door edge and is clamped to the door face using your clamps. This template is adjustable for door thickness. Simple to use; just mortise the deep mortise to the depth required for the hardware being installed then remove the red stop and mortise the finish or shallow mortise.
