Harmon Hinge by Accurate Lock for 1-3/4” thick doors: Harmon Hinge Template Set for 1-3/4” thick doors. Special matched templates to produce the mortise pockets for both the Door Leaf and the Jamb Leaf for the Harmon Hinge. Finish size on the Door mortise is: 1.250 x 5.750. The finish mortise on the Jamb mortise is: 1.5 x 5.750 with a deep pocket mortise of 1.250 x 1.75 x 2-1/4” deep. The mortising of the door is pretty much straight forward; use a 1/2 inch mortising bit with a 5/8 inch router template guide on your router to produce the finish mortise. For the jamb, mortise the deep pocket between the red block-off tabs, remove the tabs and do the finish mortise with your router set to the proper depth to give you a clean flush mortise.

We do make these templates in a full length, multi-pocket configuration set with two or more hinges on a single carrier, one for the door and one for the jamb. This way we do all of the spacing and the chance for error is greatly reduced. Call us for pricing if you need these templates set up for a full length layout.
