Add to or convert any Templaco door template to our clamp-on system by adding one or more clamp-on legs to your template. This clamp on kit allows you to use your own clamps to secure the template to the door in place of using the standard nail assemblies to attach the template to the door edge. Each kit has a 3-3/4 inch x 18 inch long piece of 5/8 inch thick template material, two slotted heavy duty 90 degree steel brackets and eight truss head attaching screws. The slotted steel brackets allow you to easily adjust the clamp-on leg for different door thickness. Using this kit your template will be clamped at 90 degrees to the door face. If you are adding this kit to an existing template, just draw a straight line across the rounded part of red plastic stops that are on the template now, remove the red stops and add the clamp-on leg aligning it to the line that you drew.  NOTE: You can have one or more clamp-on kits added by the factory to any door template that you order at the same time you place your order at no additional cost for labor. Order the number of Clamp-On Kits that you want included in your order and in the comment section at the time of check out, tell us which template you want the Clamp-On kit or kits installed. You only need one kit for most single pocket or shorter templates up to 18 inches long and two kits for most full length door templates up to 7 feet long, a third kit can be added to templates that are 8 feet in length if desired.
