Dust Box or Dust Bucket template for the ST-151B 1-1/8” x 2-3/4” mortise. This template will produce the deep mortise for the dust box or dust bucket that is placed under the Strike plate hardware itself to conceal the wood part of the jamb. Finish size of the mortise pocket is: .900 x 1.375. After mortising for the 1-1/8” x 2-3/4” Strike hardware, use the alignment slots on the template to locate the template to the finish mortise pocket. Two screw holes are provided to hold the template in position if you don’t want to use the built in nail assemblies on your jamb, these holes also align to the screw holes in the strike hardware for attaching the hardware to the jamb.
