Jamb mortising template. We've taken four of the most popular templates for residential locksets and combined them onto a single carrier. This template will produce four finish strike mortise sizes for the most popular residential locksets. Included on a single 16” carrier is: 1” x 2-1/4” deadbolt, 1” x 2-1/4” Full Lip, 1-1/8” x 2 3/4” ”T” and a 1-1/8” x 2-3/4” Deadbolt. Supplied with two centering locators. Companion template is Model ML-300 Multi-Latch. As with all of our templates, use a 1/2” cutter and a 5/8” outside diameter router template guide on your router for this template. See Router Bit Stock # (CB-1 & CB-4) and Router Template Guide (Stock # TG-1) If you will be using the CB-4 Universal Router Bit with the 5/8” top mounted bearing with this template you should also purchase a TBK-1 Top Bearing Kit. Using a double bearing setup with this template will increase the contact area on the template and reduce the chance for template flex. No need to remove the door stop when using this template. Template is designed to place the back edge of the strike plate as close as 3/16” from the door stop or it can be adjusted to a wider setting using the built in stops on the underside of the template.
