This single template will produce a finish mortise of 1-1/4” x 8” on the edge of the door. Just nail the template to the edge of the door using the attached nail assemblies and use your router to create a perfect mortise for the face of the mortise lock you are installing. Don't want nail holes in your door edge? Clamp a piece of wood to the face of the door and attach the template to the wood or order our Clamp-On Kit with your order.
