Designed by Templaco Tools, with Micro Grain Carbide Cutting Surfaces, not a cheap knock-off. Each bit is guaranteed to work in our quick-release adapter and run smoothly in our Templaco Bore Master fixture. Our newest design with all Carbide Cutting Surfaces which include: two Chip Lifter teeth, two Carbide Spur teeth and the Carbide center point, overall length is 8 inches. This new open head design passes wood cuttings through the cutter head better than the old style multi-tooth cutter head. High quality micro grain carbide cutting surfaces are welded to each cutter face and tip providing a service factor of at least 10 to 1 over regular carbon steel spur bits. Templaco Carbide Tipped spur bits will work in any brand name boring jig fixture including: Classic Engineering, Porter-Cable, Kwik-Set, Schlage Lock, Pro-Lock and any other fixture that uses a 1/2” inside diameter bushing to guide the bit. (You must use our Templaco Quick-Release adaptor (Model AD-603 or AD-603HD) if you purchase a Templaco bit to be used in another brand name fixture).
