This template is like the FB-601 but has a full rounded end in place of the flat end on the FB-601. This template is our newest version built as a "Clamp-On" style and replaces the older nail on style. This template will produce both the deep and shallow finish mortise using the same router bit. Mortise both the face of the door and the top or bottom of the door by moving the template to the appropriate position. Overall tool length is about 18”. Use our TG-1 Template Guide and CB-1 Carbide Mortising Bit, both are featured items on our home page. Note: photo shows two red block-off tabs installed in the template, only one is required to use this template properly so we only include one block-off tab with the template, you never use the template with two tabs installed in the template.
