Maglock SAM2 Series: Lock & Strike Template Set. Finish size on the Lock is: 7.200" x 1.150" with a 6" x 1.150" deep pocket for the coil box. On the Strike it has a 7.200" x 1.150" and 6.375" x 1.150" deep pocket dimension. Mortising between the red block-off tabs produced the deep pocket mortise and mortising without the tabs in place produces the shallow or finish mortise. Installer will use a 1/2" router bit with a 5/8" template guide on the router base to produce all mortises. Note: This particular template set is set up for mortising on the jamb and door in the standard lock position, not on the top of the door.
