Using your router mortise both the Latch Strike and the Deadbolt Strike in one operation. This multi-strike router template has three pockets set up with: 'A' Deadbolt (1” x 2-1/4”) an 'A' Full Lip Strike (1” x Full-Lip) and another 'A' Deadbolt (1” x 2-1/4”) on 5-1/2” centers. This three pocket layout allows you to mortise the full-lip strike and the deadbolt with a single setup for both left and right hand door configurations. Use our standard 1/2” mortising bit (CB-1) and our 5/8” OD template guide (TG-1) or our CB-4 universal mortising bit with a 5/8” top mounted bearing to produce perfect mortises on your door jambs.If using the CB-4 Universal Mortising bit with the top mounted bearing you will need to install a second bearing on the router bit to keep the bearing from dropping below the ABS plastic part of the template and damaging the work piece. (See Link Below) We do have the mating Multi-Latch template in the Multi-Latch heading under Router Templates.
