Template will produce perfect mortises for the electrical box for door jamb switches, common to the Leviton catalog number 1885. Photo shows the switch box with the template. Mortise both the shallow or finish mortise of 1-1/4” x 3-11/16” with the red block off tabs removed and the deep pocket mortise of 1-1/4”x 2-3/4” with the block off tabs in place.
