This Emtek Full Lip Strike Template will produce a perfect mortise for the (Oversize) Emtek Full Lip Strike. You won't have to use your razor knife to open up the standard strike size of 2-1/4” to make the Emtek Strike fit the mortise now. This template is the same as our standard ST-146A Strike but made oversize by .028” so the Emtek hardware will fit without reworking the mortise by hand. Don't order this template if you're installing standard sized hardware.(see ST-146A for our standard Full Lip Strike). Length of the template is 10” and it's supplied with two nail attaching assemblies to attach to your door jamb. Adjustable for 1-3/8” and 1-3/4” door jambs. Use a 1/2” cutter and a 5/8” OD template guide attached to your router to produce perfect mortises. (see our TG-1 Template Guide under the ”Parts and Acc. Tab”) & (CB-1 Cutter or our CB-4 Universal cutter under the ”Cutting Tools Tab” ) When installing strikes with square corners use our (CC-1 Spring Loaded Corner Chisel).
