Professional quality complete lock installation kit for cylindrical locksets. This kit is supplied with our best all aluminum Templaco door boring fixture that is adjustable from 2-3/8" to 2-3/4" backset positions and for wood doors as thin as 1" to 2-1/2" thick, (for thicker doors up to 3 inches please contact us for the added cost). This kit has Steel Spur Bits for boring the 1" edge-bore and the 2-1/8'' cross-bore and the 1-1/2'' cross-bore for dead bolts. Also included are two router templates for mortising the latch pocket on the edge of the door, sizes are 1’’ x 2-1/4’’ and 1-1/8’’x 2-1/4’’ and two router templates for mortising the strike pocket on the face of the jamb, sizes are 1’’x 2-1/4’’ “Full Lip Strike” and a combination template that will do 1-1/8’’x 2-3/4’’ “T Strike” and 1-1/8”x 2-3/4” Dead Bolt Strike. To complete the kit we include a heavy duty 1/2" hex drive quick-release drill adapter to chuck the spur bits into your drill motor, a 1-1/2" reducer ring to use with the 1-1/2" spur bit, an aluminum latch bore strike center marker with a stainless steel point and a spring loaded corner chisel for squaring out the mortise corners for both locksets and hinges. This complete kit is enclosed in a rugged red plastic case with a strong hinge and latches.
