Templaco Tools Inc. is a quality tool manufacturer producing specialized tools for the door hanging tradesman. Templaco has been building door hanging tools since 1981 and we now make over 160 different router templates for the installation of locks and hinges, including several models of our Bore Master cylindrical lock installation kit. We produce most of our tools and associated parts right here in the United States, just north of San Diego, California.

Latch Mortiser $16.00
Details: latch mortiser, 1" x 2 1/4" (square)

Tempered, hard, sharp, steel. This mortis marker is made from tough stuff, it will stand up to the beating that your hammer will give it. After you have bored the hole into the door, insert the pilot of the mortiser and strike it with a hammer. It will cut the outline of the mortise with its sharp edges. Use your chisel to complete the mortise to the proper depth.
